Requirements Summary

High school diploma or medical coding education required; active coding certification required if no coding education; 1 year progressive coding experience required; 2 years progressive coding experience in multiple specialties preferred; CPC/COC/CIC/CCS/CCS-P/CCA/CRC/RHIT/RHIA preferred or required upon hire; Associate degree preferred.
